clydeftones
I checked this out while in Boston a few weeks ago. It was a nice way to spend 2 hours. Wouldnt say its a "cant miss" exhibit and the admission is a bit steep. Some of the views from the CMOA were better than the pieces.
Rip
This is the first time I've ever heard of it, but it sounds like it'd be a great time. Too bad the drive would be a bit much...
stranaspank
Saw this in Raleigh/Durham. It was pretty interesting. Best thing is the have the original artwork for Talking Heads - More Songs About Buildings and Food, which is actually a collage of polaroids that David Byrne took and put together to make one big grid. hickey
I've always really enjoyed the ICA. And my wife's office is down there, so we get free parking. I just bought tickets to this from Groupon for $8 each.
jcamps
i dunno, i took a girl on a date there back in the fall and the main exhibit was miniature doll clothes. we ended up having more fun getting stoned on their front lawn than at the actual exhibits. however, i did get to see OM there a while back and their setup was INCREDIBLE. the back of the room was completely glass giving a great view of harbor lights and boats passing by as they were playing. again, had a great time smoking outside. hickey
Maybe it's an age thing? Anyway, I'm stoked to check out this exhibit and grab a bite at this killer Mexican place down there (or, if that's too crowded we'll just go to Remy's).
