thischarmingman
Never seen him solo. Is it Alkaline Trio stuff? Heavens? Solo stuff? A mix. Debating whether to see him or not.
danthemjfan23
lots of alkaline trio stuff. never seen him play any heavens. a few solo songs. a few covers. usually he can't remember half the chords and screws up half the lyrics, so it's a lot of audience participation. i'd say your decision on whether or not you should go should depend on ticket prices, and how big of a fan you are. almightyseancore
saw alk3, dbs, and mike park like 3 or 4 years ago (whenever that tour happened), and matt screwed up a lot of his lyrics. dan nailed his shit fine. also, most fan friendly set list i've ever seen from a band. very few singles and very little new material. great times were had by all. EDIT: that was barely on topic at all. hopefully he plays some of his stuff from the kevin seconds split? ???
danthemjfan23
yeah, i've seen him play Good Fucking Bye, The City That Day, Next To You, and In Your Wake at solo shows over the years. there's a good chance he'll play at least something from that album. usually it's Good Fucking Bye

thischarmingman
Well, he cancelled the shows so I guess this issue is kind of moot. Haha.
