imaminorthreat
I know that I'm getting super excited about this waaaaay ahead of time.... but Brian Posehn is gonna be at Second City in February. There's a groupon today good for 2 for 1 admission to Second City for $35 bones. Pretty awesome deal. Jump on it people, I'll see you there. astrangerwithcandy
I saw him when he was in Jersey awhile back and laughed until I couldn't breathe.

Fuck yeah man! I wound up choosing the late show on Friday, otherwise I'd say we should have a pre-show beer. Cheers anyway. I'm super excited for this. booyahachieved
Saw him perform a couple weeks back in Columbus, OH. He was hilarious as I expected but for some reason the crowd that was at the show didn't really seem to fit his style. It was half filled with stuck up middle aged folk. The front row was mostly women and they just sat there with their arms crossed scowling at him half the time. Why they paid $20/seat to see him perform I have no idea... but I had a great time. Gay Slayer jokes FTW!
combatwaffle
I saw him a couple months ago in Orlando and he made me laugh so hard my jaw hurt for the rest of the night.

I know the place sucks but it happens to be one of the few places around town that has stand up comedy. There were plenty of metal head Posehn fans there though so it wasn't all soccer moms. I just don't understand why they'd pay $20 for his show when they could have gone to see the new Twilight.

bgdesign
Great show. Had front row seats and met Brian!
idreamofpunk
How did you like Dan telfer? He's easily one of my favorite local Chicago comedians. How did you like him?
bgdesign
Dan Telfer was awesome too. They actually fit well together as an opening/closing act. The MC was terrible though.
idreamofpunk
Dan's opened for Brian quite a bit. He seems to be his usual Chicago opener by this point. Really wish I'd have made it to one of these shows. =/
