bill
There was meant to be some kind of OG lineup shows in Boston this year playing stuff from the Taang albums but it must have been pushed aside for these dates.
almightyseancore
i read on their page something about playing 'its a shame about ray' in it's entirety, but it said those shows would happen fall-december, so maybe this isn't that? i hope it is. I'm pretty sure the Ray album forms the backbone for most of the sets these days.
chiefwahoo
The "It's a Shame About Ray" tour has been going on for a few months now. I saw it in Akron, it was pretty good. I ignored the Lemonheads in their prime and only recently discovered Ray. Killer album. Anyways, I started reading reviews the day I was going to see them and there were a couple major, major disasters at the beginning of the tour before he pulled it together. Akron show was great. Plowed through the album (minus Mrs. Robinson) and played a bunch of other songs afterwards. Some by himself and then the full band again. I don't think he said a word between songs unless he was saying the name of the tune. When he was done, he set down his guitar, "snuck" out the front door and that was that, ha. chiefwahoo
Oh, and all these new tour dates are indeed a continuation of the Ray tour.
