mcm1610
http://sanders.senate.gov/petition/?uid=f1c2660f-54b9-4193-86a4-ec2c39342c6c The Saving American Democracy Amendment states that: Corporations are not persons with constitutional rights equal to real people. Corporations are subject to regulation by the people. Corporations may not make campaign contributions or any election expenditures. Congress and states have the power to regulate campaign finances. Go to the link above to sign the petition and learn more, and just to watch Bernie Sanders be a badass. He's the same guy who went on a day-long rant about income inequality last year (or early this year? can't remember which). He's the man. BuzzersonKillwell
This dude is awesome. I see him around town frequently and he is always friendly. Sanders seems like one of the few legit dudes not making amendments based on cash contributions. The Citzens United ruling is a disaster. mcm1610
Yea, I've really come to enjoy Mr. Sanders a lot. I finally watched his appearance on Colbert (after I saw all this going around and posted this thread) and think I want to buy his book "The Speech" too. I showed clips of it in my Gov't class and Econ class last year when he went on that rant. I loved it. The kids, however... meh. Whatever, they got an extra credit paper out of it if they wanted, and I rarely give EC.
