josh83
Just seeking info about Quicksand's Slip I've noticed a few on discogs from Europe a couple claiming to be a repress others stating they are actually a bootleg copy my question is has anyone grabbed one of these and what is the sound and jacket quality like? Would love to own this record I don't mind owning a bootleg copy as long as it sounds great any help is appreciated thanks.

josh83
seems the insert is different and the cover is below average quality can anyone comment on the sound quality compared to the original? Also hope im not opening up a can of worms but the mts repress im guessing is dead in the water?
sabukweli
Great question. I've been wondering the same thing after seeing those on discogs and knowing that the repress is probably way on the backburner with the MTS situation. For the record, the repress is through Academy Fight Song, but that doesn't really change the situation.
nico
It has indeed has a single insert, instead of a printed innersleeve. The cover is obviously scanned and printed, so the small letters look a bit fuzzy, but it will do for my taste. I have a few OG 90's records by leggit record companies which was basically blown up cd artwork, that looksb way worse. The soundqualtiy is okay, but I have the feeling they used the cd as a master for the vinyl.

Your correct sorry I said mts, It's weird reading old threads stating that they were working with Walter on the repress now It's in limbo cause they are too busy repressing blink album's if the licence for this is up for grabs dome other label should jump on this absolute classic album. thievesdont
Back in January AFS posted a picture of the layout on their Facebook page. Hopefully it gets out there this year!
