xthricex Posted March 22, 2012 Share Posted March 22, 2012 Hey was wondering what people on the board might think about my audio issues I have been having. The last few records I have spun the audio sounds like its cutting out especially during the bassy parts. The receiver's EQ doesn't seem to be maxed out or anything, and my sennheiser HD 280s seem fine (though a few years old). I got the impression through some tinkering that my needle/cartridge is getting in need of replacement. But it is getting to the point where records are unlistenable because of how distracting the audio screw ups are. Thoughts? solutions? Thanks!
