kriss Posted May 3, 2012 Share Posted May 3, 2012 there are several folks here who have been listening to these as they're posted up weekly, but I figure a few more may be interested since this week's podcast may appeal to the few psych heads around these parts as we're featuring Steve Krakow aka Plastic Crimewave, a local Chicago musician who does the Secret History of Chicago Music column in The Reader as well as putting out the Galactic Zoo Disc magazine through the Drag City label. This episode features unreleased music by his various bands as well as a completely unreleased cut by Canadian psych legends Simply Saucer. Also, more of you should come check out his message board. kriss Posted May 3, 2012 Author Share Posted May 3, 2012 thanks for the good words dude, it's seriously appreciated. the N&B Podcast is definitely a stand alone and not meant to rip off of the VC one - with us, we're finding creative folks from every walk in the Chicago underground and opening each episode to let them talk about what they do, what they love and what they think about while playing some of their favorite tracks. Pretty excited about it and we've seen our numbers begin to jump significantly.
