felocin
The records are in incredible shape. The guy who gave them to me cherished them and kept the clean. Lots of first press classic rock and roll, zeppelin, tons of Beatles, stones, the who etc... Stoked!!!

collectivemike
That's pretty awesome! I got a ton of old stuff from my girlfriend's Aunt last weekend too. Lots of obscure reggae mixed in with classic rock.. I've had so much fun sorting through it this week.

Yes if you want to keep them free of dust and the jackets rubbing against each other best to buy some plastic sleeves to protect them all. kidamnesiac
I love how old people think that their old records are some kind of gold mine now that vinyl is popular again. Especially Beatles records. It's like they don't know that there were millions, MILLIONS of copies of most of these records made. My uncle found out that I collect records and plopped his collection on me with the caveat that I was to sell whatever I didn't want on eBay and give him the money. Yeah right. Then present him with a bill showing that his record sold for 1.25 and you had to pay 4.50 to ship it.

Included some great stuff like the Strawberry Alarm Clock and Burnt Weeny Sandwich.
