I'm awful at describing any bands' sound, but this person describes Now We've Got Members like this: "The sound has elements of both balkan folk music and arabian funk, as well as progressive rock (without the rock), disco (without the mirrorballs) and free jazz (without the jazz) and it's all neatly merged together in their complex yet hummable pop tunes". Sounds about right. They're pretty great; give 'em a shot! Listen/Buy Vinyl release is a transparent picture disc with a real, dried leaf inside, so each one is unique. Forget which record, but it had seedlings in clear vinyl with a small paper tab sticking out of thr record. wet the tab and with time the seeds would sprout and grow inside.
