wadeboggs Posted July 25, 2012 Share Posted July 25, 2012 I'm heading up to Clevo to see Torche tonight and was wondering if any of you guys have been to the Free Summer Concert Series put on by the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame. Someone more knowledgable can be more specific, I'm sure, but between parking decks, lots, and the street, parking won't be hard to find at all. scottheisel Posted July 25, 2012 Share Posted July 25, 2012 There's tons of parking around, some cost money but if you're lucky you can locate street parking (meters stop working at 7 so it's free then). They always have an opening act, so the headlining band in question doesn't usually go on till 8 or 8:30ish. They serve booze, too, and usually a few food trucks show up as well, so bring some extra money. These shows are usually really fun—I've seen Murder By Death, Free Energy, Spitalfield, etc. over the years. I wanted to go to the Cloud Nothings one the other week but it conflicted with Warped, and I wanted to go tonight to see Torche but it conflicts with Mayhem.
