Well, enough people must of asked because this was just posted: The Sub Pop Loser Edition FAQ Q. What is this “Sub Pop Loser Edition”? A. Back in the summer of 2011, we began doing the first pressing of each of our vinyl LPs on limited-edition colored vinyl. This version of our vinyl LPs we’ve decided to call the “Sub Pop Loser Edition.” Q. Where can I get the Loser Edition of [this is where the name of an album would go] by [this is where the name of an artist would go]? A. Loser Editions are available while supplies last at subpop.com and independent record stores throughout the U.S. They are also sometimes available directly from the bands at their shows. Q. Can you tell me which record stores are currently carrying Loser Edition LPs? A. We encourage you to call your local, independent record store to check their availability, as we can’t supply you with that information. Q. How will I know a Loser Edition when I see it? A. All Loser Edition LPs bear the handsome stickerized emblem above. Look for it! It is gold in color and, not coincidentally, bears the words “Loser” and “Edition,” among a few others. Q. Why “Loser”? A. It’s a long story…feel free to read it. Q. Which releases have Loser Editions been made, and in what colors and quantities? A. Here’s a list!
