Would give my left nut to own this myself! Had to settle for a none too shabby black copy just last week. One of my favourite modern classical\downtempo albums. Nice choice and good luck with your search

Where did you "settle" for a copy, if you don't mind me asking? I'm about to pull the trigger on a Denovali order. But grabbing both this and II (with shipping) comes out to $75. Pretty steep. My fear is that I'll buy a standard 180 gram copy, and then see this variant pop up on Discogs in a week. One copy is pricey enough as it is, you know?

But I agree; his work is pretty phenomenal. For whatever reason it resonated with me right off the bat. Both releases are exactly what my ears need at this point in my life - it's tough to explain. I also suspect they'll sound absolutely incredible on wax... which is the only reason I'm comfortable shelling out ~$30 for each.

And as a random aside, II probably features the best use of black-with-white splatter that I've ever seen. It just makes sense.
