Spin's Top 50 Albums of the Year

Recommended Posts

Don't waste your time with Coexist, Ry. It's just so boring. I loved their fist album and was really looking forward to Coexist, but it just sucked. I find myself coming back to Intro, Crystalized and VCR a lot, but there's just nothing on Coexist that I'd want to listen to again

i listened a couple times already, and nothing memorable happened. unlike xx, when i knew immediately. i just want to give it one more go before i completely write it off.

HOLY SHIT BIG BOI.

quite possibly my most anticipated album of the year, and after 2 listens today, it did not disappoint at all. i think all the features are great, and phantogram was a nice surprise each time. even kid cudi sounded good.

Tame Impala - Lonerism

Sky Ferreria - Ghost EP

Maps & Atlases - Beware and Be Grateful

The Lumineers - S/T

Just off the top of my head

I gotta admit that Freelance Whales LP totally blew me away. Very nice progression since their first release.

IF IT'S NOT FLAMINGO TRIGGER THEN IT DOESNT EVEN FUCKING EXIST

and the fact that no one (including spin) are even talking about the jealous sound makes me wonder where the hell y'all's ears have been.

and fucking oceania bros.c'mon now.

TJS is awesome. But do you even understand Spin's audience?
