Aych
Recently, I bought a Pro-Ject Debut III and a Sherwood RX-4109, and I've been looking for bookshelf speakers to finish off my upgraded set-up. Unfortunately, I know next to nothing about speakers, and have no idea where to start. All I know is that my budget is strictly set at $150 max, and I want to buy new. I did find these, which seem pretty decent, but I don't know if they'd work well for a turntable set-up: http://www.crutchfield.com/p_779S20N/Cambridge-Audio-S20-Noir.html Anyone wanna help send an audio n00b in the right direction? elnombre91
I'm very much a n00b when it comes to all of this too, but I'm using these and they sound lovely.

troymess
It's been said in other threads, but you could find a decent pair of Polk Audio speakers on New Egg for around this price range.
ilikeguitars
If you're in the mood to build, these speakers are pretty easy to build and sound pretty good.
