kevbayer
Now that this is completed, has anyone heard if the first album or anything else will be repressed?
828321
The last time WCAL was meant to be reissued it was meant to be part of a CD reissue series by Warner called "Forever Young" in Japan, last year. Two weeks before shipping the release was cancelled. I'm not certain, but it's probably because of issues between Mordam Records who owned the rights, London Records who were the last licensees (they leapfrogged Slash) which bsically cust Slash and Warner out of the loop) and Warner who now handle the Slash catalogue in Europe. If London maintained the rights when the catalogue transferred to Universal around 2003, then Warner will not be able to release it without significant struggle. I suspect that Warner cannot get a license for it.
kevbayer
I was more hoping for a single comp or live at brixton
828321
If people wanted that to happen (I want a B-sides album) I;m not sure who you'd petition. I don;t think the band get much say on their old catalogue any more and Warner seem to be a nightmare to contact.
