Green Tea Papi
If you have a record label, please, please let me know, I know an artist who would like to press his music on wax and I would like to give him a good list of labels/contacts who he could get in touch with. If you have a label, would you please PM me your contact info so I could forward it to him, it would be much appreciated Thanks in advance. Guest
Records are not wax. Vinyl is a plastic compound. Lots of people refer to records as wax, even if it isn't technically accurate. If you do some research, and you will find that some of the early phonograph cylinders were made of, you guessed it, wax, so there is some historical significance. Do you correct people when they refer to money as dough?

astrangerwithcandy
Do you correct people when they refer to money as dough? Wait, so I can't use dough as money? But, Eric, if you go to a label's website they typically have a process through which they accept submissions. That's probably your friend's best bet rather than fishing for label heads to pop in.
