smailtronic
I've started seeing a weird potential issue with my Technics SL-D1. Occasionally, when I start playing a record, I'll only hear sound coming from one channel. However, if I raise the volume a bit, and then turn it back down (I usually listen at a fairly low volume), the other channel kicks in. I've replaced the speaker wire for that channel, but it's still happening. Thinking it's an issue with the RCA cable between the turntable and receiver, but I'm curious if anybody else has seen something similar. slinch
It may very well be your receiver. Try another source (like an mp3 player).
smwalsh6
What kind of receiver do you have? Very well could be a dirty pot, especially if it's an older receiver.
