After reading this, I'd be pretty confident that this theory is correct. Actually, it'd be pretty hard for them to disprove, if you're going for the 'subconscious influence' angle. Even if they say it had nothing to do with the plane crash, who's to say? This is way more believable than the Scarface deal, or how many times they masturbated in one day. I thought so too, glad some one agrees with me. I was kind of amazed I had never heard of the plane crash before and only found it because I was reading a review of some new play or movie on the AV club where they used dialogue from plane crashes.
