I'm trying to figure out how can I tell this one apart from the re-issue from 2008. Will the re-issue have a 2008 date on the back? Also, same question about the Slim Shady LP. kjkenney Posted February 19, 2014 Share Posted February 19, 2014 reissue was re-released by Back to Black so I would imagine there is some sort of identifier on there in regards to that. Also I think the newer one is 180g, so it will feel a little heavier. slinch Posted February 21, 2014 Share Posted February 21, 2014 I don't own original pressings of either of those two so I cannot compare, but while the Slim Shady LP repress is pretty solid apart from some horrible inner groove distortion, the Marshall Mathers LP repress is pretty bad.
