iamcaptainguitar
This is my first post. I wanted to start with a 7" I bought a couple copies of at a record store a few weeks ago. I was looking through a bunch of 7" records the store had and found three brand new copies of The Touch Tones: I Feel Real/She's Looking At Me 7" It was released on One Listen Records on black vinyl. There is no information on the album except the band name and song titles and the record label logo, not even a date. It come in a picture sleeve with the two band members (I am guessing) on the front and a picture of a cat's head on the back. I didn't bother to ask the store who or what this release was, for I thought I would find something on them. I can't find anything on the release, the band, or the label. Since I like to keep my records "new" if I buy them new, I have not listened to it, so I don't even know what style of music they are. The price sticker was from 2010, so I am guessing it was released then. Any info would be great.
collectivemike
A picture would probably help. So would opening it and listening to it. What's the benefit of keeping a record sealed if you've never heard of the band, can't find them online, and have no idea what they sound like? iamcaptainguitar
Here are some images. I bought this cheap, and like to buy albums and/or bands that I have never heard of. Sometimes it's beneficial. The reason I like to keep it sealed or unplayed is because it could be worth more. This may not be, I was just curious. Thanks. https://imageshack.com/i/goltjtj https://imageshack.com/i/0nl7d6j https://imageshack.com/i/mki97fj
scottheisel
This record is incredibly rare and you should list it on eBay and then delete your account here to get rid of the paper trail. deletedunknown
dawhizz
You bought three new copies of the same record you've never heard of and have no intention of listening to? And you won't even listen to one to see if you like it? I'm making a possibly false assumption that you even like music. If you had information on this release, what would you do with it exactly? Put it on your turntable and see if you like it. If you do, keep a copy and send the other two to a couple buddies. If you don't... do whatever. That's my two cents.
