Aesthetically Fixing Up Older Speakers

Recommended Posts

Getting that covering off to do anything with them would be difficult

It seems like it would peel right off after removing a couple screws, maybe leave some residue I imagine I could sand off.

they probably weren't much to look at when they were new.

Aww yes, the late 80's/early 90's. Karazzee.

Wouldn't be too hard to make a grill/screen for them, I'd imagine. I've been meaning to do that for my 70's speakers. Unless that's not the look you're going for. But if you just measure and put together a simple wood frame, you can use pretty much any material you want. If it's not a snug fit, just add a touch of velcro to keep it in place.
