Why the fuck don't all vinyl releases come with a free digital download? Is there a lot of extra cost associated with giving kids a download code? I just got my copy of 59 sound and while it is a great record I'm pissed that there was no download(didn't expect one, just hoped I would be surprised.) I don't download anything and don't subscribe to any downloading services but I'll be damned if I pay for the mp3s of a record I own. I thought the tide was changing in favor of offering multi-platforms for the same price. For some reason this just really pissed me off today. Also that GA t-shirt sucks and looks cheap. That money should have gone towards the mp3s. Vent over.

I want the new Joey Cape record and the t-shirt, but I don't really want to spend 40 bucks and I don't want both colors. So the offer is I buy the deluxe set and then mail you the chocolate record(the rarer color) plus the poster, pin, beer cozie, and pint glass. You pay me 15 bucks plus a couple for shipping. I then send you the stuff once it comes in. The price and extras are negotiable. The shirt is not. Let me know now, and I'll order it in the morning if there are any sets left.

That ending doesn't seem consistent with the book. At all. I love Palahniuk and his books really shouldn't be adapted to film. He always fucks up his protagonists so that by then end of the book they're dead or almost dead, but spiritually alive. To me that's the theme throughout all his books, the degradation and meaningless of humanity and ultimately salvation through beating the shit out of yourself or death. Not exactly something a lot of people want to watch.
