  1. Most of the TV guys I talk to say that Sony or Samsung are the way to go. And apparently the screens are made at the same factory.
  2. Just bought a Sony Bravia Z-Series LCD and it's awesome.
  3. It has audio out, so you can stream music from your iTunes to a stereo/speakers connected to your Airport. Google AirTunes.
  4. the guy who started the thread has played in bands. good ones. that have released albums. albums on record labels. I have?!
  5. In general, it's a little bit easier than the other Rock Bands. But if you're a Beatles fan, it's the fucking bomb.
  6. No mic on the touch. Why give people the ability to Skype without an iPhone? EDIT: I previously said "camera" instead of mic.
  7. It is seriously so good. The in-between song banter is really cool, and the dreamscapes are amazing. I can't wait to play it with friends - have just been playing Ringo so far by myself. Wish I could skip out on work today...
  8. Picked mine up @ 7 AM. This game is amazing. Go.
  9. Mine "free'd up" about 10GB. But apparently it's not actually freeing up any room, they've just changed the way the OS calculates disk space. It's more accurate now.
  10. Snow Leopard is just alright. There are quite a few changes "under the hood" apparently (rewrite of Finder, etc), but there aren't a lot of surface changes. Other than the new Quicktime, which is awesome, there isn't much to get excited about.
  11. My car was stolen last October with my iPod in it. They found my car a week later, sans iPod. In April, I got a call from a cop saying they'd recovered my iPod and the dude who stole it hadn't formatted it or anything. Still had my name programmed into it, had some of my wedding pictures on it, and the funny thing was that the guy had been listening to The Descendents (Enjoy! was in Now Playing, and was not when I last used it). I just wiped it down with some alcohol swabs and was good to go! So the moral of the story is, don't lose faith. It's a terrible feeling to have it stolen, but you may see it again one day.
  12. I can't get into the Larry Arms 100%. I like some of their stuff, but really don't get some of their other stuff. I guess I should give them a more wholehearted listen.
  13. I had a beer in their airport once. I'd recommend that.
  14. Same here. Also, I vividly remember having this experience with Millencolin - Life on a Plate. I hated it when I first bought it, and now it's one of my favourites.
  15. This is one of my favourite things to experience. Who's with me? I'm talking about pulling out an album that maybe you liked, maybe you didn't, but it came out a year or more ago. But when you start listening to it again this time, the whole experience is different. You are totally digging this album. It's blowing your mind. It's changing your perspective. This happens to me all the time. I pick up an album and make a snap judgement about it only to find that, a year later, I feel totally different about it. I am currently being blown away by Dillinger Four - C I V I L W A R. I really liked it when it first came out, but I am LOVING it now. What are yours?
