My Macbook's hard drive died on me after about 10 months. Happened to a couple of my friends as well. Apple was aware of the issue, but didn't feel like letting anyone know before they bought. I have a Time Capsule now, so no big deal. But yes, Macs can fail too.

I've been a big TLE fan for a long time and have struggled to find any real similar bands. Anyone know of any? Could be rockabilly or punkabilly or whatever, or just good guitar-based rock 'n roll. I prefer more edgy stuff (more contemporary), so no Link Wray recommendations, OK? Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the stellar info, guys! One last question...we thought we might rent a car and take a drive out to wine country for a day, but don't really know if that's a good idea. We don't really care to stay overnight or anything. But I also heard there are trains tours that go out there...any advice for what would be best? We're not really wine aficionados or anything, so we don't really want to do anything too serious.

I just find Firefox a little clunky. I know, I'm the minority here.
