did that guy ship via airmail or surface? If he shipped air, it usually takes not more than 7 days to arrive in the US. Surface mail can take very very long, I´m still waiting for a record from Canada that was posted about 7 weeks ago....

no idea doesn't do the $0 value thing on their custom forms? or were there too many to pull that off? yeah, probably. The custom office over here always gets suspicious when they receive a large packet with seven identical LPs, even if the value was marked as 10$ on the customs form. I can import goods up to 24 Euro for free, which is like 34$ at the moment. I guess they realized that 7 LPs cost more than 24 Euro, so they held it back and charged me. You gotta keep in mind that one LP over here usually costs around 11 - 12 Euro in shops. But the taxes weren´t that much, I had to pay 8 Euro for all seven LPs, so that´s ok. It was still worth the hassle :

oh my, Epitaph US recently really seem to have problems with their vinyl. I remember that the recent Bad Religion vinyl as well came out a month later than the european version due to some pressings problems. But two months later than the european press really sucks for you guys/gals over there
