So I have about 19 bucks in stored credit from selling used records. If today is the last day of the store, is it a use it or lose it situation? Transfered to Interpunk credit? By the way if I need to direct this to a specific person via email, let me know.

First one went out yesterday, 2 more to go out this morning. Thanks to everyone who ordered, and thanks to Virgil for setting the used sales up.

Feeling very Charlie Bucket-esque about this.

1. The closest store is Hot Topic, everything else is 50 minutes away. 2. Always always ALWAYS missing out on online sales, releases, pre-orders, etc. It seems they always end on or right before payday.

I'd be surprised if they were listenable with a regular cartridge. I think you'd need a special needle for shellac 78s. As far as damage goes, I don't know, but I'm pretty sure they wouldn't sound right. I have a portable player with a nylon needle that you flip over for 78s. Never tried a 78 with the other (wrong) side of the needle.

BR 7" on white. $8, last one left (or maybe the only one they got) Put it in a sleeve that I swapped from a gatefold 7" Misfits "Walk" was $18 I think And then just a bunch of stuff on my list, no other exclusives.

My b-day is on Tue.,so I get a record shopping spree on Sat. at Everybody's in Cincinnati.

Darkest hour

I couldn't possibly pick a favorite album. My current favorite song of the moment is "Tuesday" off 4 am. ("AM I ON MY OOOOOOOOOWWNN!!) I'm so happy these are pressed again but it kinda bums me out that I already had them.

I'd shop elsewhere if I could find a store that stocked both records AND luchador masks.

Is the red a Hot Topic exclusive? I thought there was going to be an exclusive color, but I'm not certain. I bought it tonight and it was red with a few light swirls in it.

Is Jerry's in or around Squirrel hill? If its the one I"m thinking of, the place is huge, but only a very small portion is punk/indie, etc. Got some cheap Misfits and Bad Brains bootlegs there.

I got a bunch of stuff on Lookout and Dead Kennedy records before the most recent reissues. This was back when the HT logo was green before the scratch logo they have now. And all my records from there smell like the store. Weird.

The local hot topic had a decent selection 10 years ago up until about 2001. Now it's mostly broken/warped picture discs.

This seems to happen to me a lot lately on estores and ebay. I've never run an online store, so is it really that hard to keep inventory up to date? VC seems to do it just fine. NoIdea sent me an entire order of just the "free with $X purchase" stuff and charged me for it because the paid purchases were out of stock. RevHQ waited a week to tell me that for my first order, they needed a scan of my CC and ID because it was $100+ and by the time they got to me, stuff was out of stock, causing the order to be under $100 anyway. Some stores and ebay sellers list well out-of-print records as "coming in 4-6 weeks" yet are still listed as "in stock." I don't get it. Okay, /rant.
