Not true. All the used stores I've seen them in have them for incredibly inflated prices, even if they are in shit condition. I've run into the same thing.

I just wanted to comment on the Mason Proper avatar. Nice! They opened for Damiera last time they were in Buffalo and were rad as the dickens and the record is awesome! I hoping that they put that album out on vinyl - it's so good. I'd love to see them live, but they haven't come through Minneapolis since I've discovered them

sounds like a really cool idea. One thing that i'd like to see is a "reviews" forum section. I'm really surprised that no forums (to my knowledge) have anything like it where users can review sound quality of albums / differences in sound between pressings / etc.

the new album is terrible; i dont think i'll give it a 2nd listen either - it was that bad.

i can vouch for them being dicks. I had a photopass which I had obtained through their publicist to shoot them when they came through minneapolis, and once I got to the show - their manager told me that the band didnt want any photographers that night. I've done many bands and the only other time I've had something like this happen was with Manson; his manager told me that I couldnt shoot him straight on because Manson doesnt like it. So I had to shoot his profile for the songs I was given.
