i'm glad somebody started this thread, because i have been super curious about this as well... my specific question would be about all the vinyl out on ebay for sale from japan. Does anybody know much about this? It's hard to tell if this stuff is legit, or bootleg, or whatever because it seems like an endless supply of certain "limited" records. I just would like to know if it is quality or not? and if anybody could point me somewhere that explains bootlegs in-depth, ore explain it to me themselves, i am extremely curious about the whole process. I don't know why, but it fascinates me! sorry if i ranted a bit thanks in advance for the info

i don't applaud this guy for shit! I mean, i can get with trying to overcome an obstacle, but this is one of the most idiotic and self-aggrandizing acts i have ever seen! I honestly can't believe somebody actually agreed to fight this guy, because it is a total lose/lose situation, as the earlier comment said.

if it was me, i would get a small nail, one small enough that the flat side of the nail that you would hit with the hammer will fit into the jack then i would put a small amount of krazy glue, or something similar, on the flat part, then hold it up to the broken piece till it held then pull away, gently don't know if that will work but, aside from replacing the entire jack, seems to be the most logical way oh, and if this does work, it's because i'm a pc, and thats how we roll!

depends on what type of music file you are messing with with most file types (especially mp3) it is impossible to completely remove the vocal track, or any track for that matter if you are up for a bit of reading, and playing around, i found this article. i know i am new to posting, but i've been browsing this board for a while and this is one of the most confusing threads i have ever read i had to read and re-read the grammar check post from hickey at least ten times before i could safely say it was correct...and that makes me sad

i know it's not the first i got off ebay, but it's the first i can remember JEW - Static Prevails and bear with me, because i know it's cliche, but my girlfriend (now wife) was bidding against me to get this for my birthday. neither of us knew the other was bidding, but thankfully this was before the vinyl craze began so i was able to figure out it was her bidding before the price got too high and i quit. she ended up winning it for around $30, but had it not been for me it probably would have been closer to $15

somebody stole my wife's cc info and spent $500 at justgiving.com the bank got her money back but we never heard anything else.. i have to wonder if it was one of the charities involved with the website itself, hoping we'd feel too guilty about trying to get our money back ...whatever! I donate to my own charity every day, in fact i just gave it a 30-pack and some nachos.

this may be a bit more mainstream than the rest, but my wife walked in to the instrumental of Hear You Me by JEW. The only vocals was the "May angels lead you in" part. Then we walked out to The Adventure by Angels and Airwaves it worked great for us, although i did have to do quite a bit of editing
