  1. Haha well... thanks for making me feel like I had a unique copy. If only for a few minutes haha. Also, it's still up if you're interested!
  2. Anyone interested in trading for either of these? Foo Fighters is still sealed and Breaking Bad is in perfect condition. I'm willing to trade for whatever- really lol. Just trying to pass these on to someone who might want them!
  3. Haha not sure if this is a sarcastic joke...or a confirmation that it actually should have been the thicker tip on jacket
  4. Question about Goosebumps: Was everyone else's copies in a regular gatefold? Mine is the usual white cardstock like gatefold and I thought this was supposed to be in a thick tip on jacket, like mostly all other Waxwork Records releases? It even says that on their website.
  5. I had placed my order through amazon at the beginning of last week. At the time it said it was unavailable but would notify me once they had a specified delivery date. Fast forward a week and I received mine in the mail yesterday. I wasn't expecting to get it anytime soon. Anyway, it's worth a shot ordering from there!
  6. Bump. I'd be willing to trade BOTH SEALED copies for one item... any item that is semi interesting seriously...lol
  7. Yeah that's true, I forgot to mention that. I was able to find one of the releases last year through an Amazon seller. The Deja release is exciting but I'm glad they went ahead and announced a standard retail release at the same time. It's a little surprising they announced that actually. But I guess they know people will try and get the RSD variant regardless.
  8. I feel sad because I no longer look forward to record store day. I used to love it and now not so much. I just feel like it's become too much of a hassle to deal with. Like I know it's always been about the limited releases, and attracting people to what used to be a struggling market, but it just feels like too much of a show now. I'm sure I'm coming off as just another jaded hipster who's mad that it's no longer "my" thing but honestly I don't think I am lol. I'm all for it and it's continued existence. It's awesome to see how awesome these record stores are doing now a days. It's just not as fun as it used to be. I used to get excited and anxious about getting these cool, and limited releases. I would show up to my record store super early in hopes of being the first in line to get whatever I was looking for. And even when I would see someone else walking around with a record I was a few seconds shy of, I wouldn't get annoyed or anything. I mean I was sad about it but even then it was all part of the fun talking to that person and being like "Dang! Lucky you!" Now, it's just too much to deal with on so many levels. Yeah there was always the concern of beating the crowd, but now it's just ridiculous. It's comparable to what Black Friday is now. People get pretty intense for these releases. That's awesome that they do, but it's just become too much of a fight for these releases. And to top it off, they just become more and more expensive. I get that these releases are rare but I feel like it's cheating to mark them up because of it. Yeah businesses are always in it for the money but I just feel like it's really strayed from what it used to be. Strayed from the message it used to have. The past two years (4 record store days), I've just gone in a few hours after opening. I obviously haven't gotten much of anything because of it, but I don't really don't care enough to deal with what it's become. And is it just me, or have the releases become kinda stale as of late? Anyway, I just felt like saying this. Maybe I am just another jaded hipster, maybe not. All I know is I get sad thinking about what Record Store Day used to be for me, compared to what it is now.
  9. Dang. Thanks. I guess it's better knowing it didn't end up happening, rather than going mad trying to find a copy. Sorry for the bump everyone!
  10. Anyone know if this ever happened? Literally the only thing referencing this when I google it, is this board posting.
  11. Still looking to trade one of these, so I'm bumping. Have two sealed copies of the Foo Fighters latest album, Sonic Highways. I have the Chicago and Hollywood covers. Looking to do a trade. I know that this is obviously nothing special or rare, so I'm not planning on being picky or difficult about what I'd be willing to trade for. Hopefully someone out there would want to do a trade!
  12. Had no idea that personality types came with album likes. I have no idea who I am, seeing as how I like every MCR album, and thousands of other albums that are each different from one and other.
  13. Bumping in case anyone might be interested who didn't see post originally.
  14. So I had bought the Hot Topic exclusive Breaking Bad picture disc a few months ago and just recently bought the standard gatefold edition. I just wanted to see if anyone would want to do a trade for my picture disc version? I'm really open to what I'd be willing to trade for. Anyway, hope someone wants to trade!
  15. It would? (Honest question, not sarcasm) It really does seem like it's red vinyl underneath the image. I posted another picture of the side. I honestly don't know how they're made so you're probably right. Either way, the little bit of red makes it look a lot nicer for some reason. http://twitter.com/Rene_Armendariz/status/474697516265402369/photo/1
  16. I think you really would enjoy the album. It's just good on so many levels (but that of course could be my biased opinion) The good thing is, this record runs pretty cheap. I got this copy for fifteen and I think I've even seen it on amazon for like $10.
  17. So they must've pressed another batch. I really do like the red, parts of me just kinda wish they'd press a regular pressing. Shoot, I'd probably be happy even if they released it with an actual sleeve instead of the clear plastic sleeves. I hate those! (As does everyone else)
  18. The killers seem to be hit or miss with people. And the red definitely looks better than the black. But anyway, thanks for your input!
  19. I guess it's kinda cool if it is a misprint. I'd prefer that only because then it would just annoy me that they pressed another batch of these on red vinyl, rather than doing a better, non pic disc version. One day, it'll come... Hopefully. Either way, picked it up. As my favorite band, I can never get enough killers.
  20. I'm at hastings right now and they have a copy of sams town picture disc but the vinyl itself that's pressed on is red. Anyone know about this? You can only see the red around the edges but still, it's obviously been changed. So I'm just curious if anyone knows anything? I'll upload a picture. I actually think the red border makes it look nicer. http://twitter.com/Rene_Armendariz/status/474647803411857410/photo/1
  21. Not sure if someone has already put this one here, but I'm still surprised that we've yet to see the first MuteMath album pressed. That needs to happen two years ago.
