Good news everyone: the head gasket was not warped- so that means that all that needs to be done is a resurfacing. That will save me a few hundred.

Also amazon has both albums in stock-sold by relapse records. No idea on the red color variant, but the blue is "limited edition"

Here's my input on bruise cruise: I bought the Ty segall/ oh seas split sometime over the summer. It approached August and nothing ever came in the mail. Emailed them 5 times before getting a response of how sorry they were. They said it was on a desk and had never shipped- that they would ship that and something special for the inconvinance. Well guess what. Today I still have nothing. I put in a PayPal claim, and it is yet to be resolved.

Who sourced the information on the "Fucked Up" release? Where did they say that? Fucked up was the one I was so eager to get. I went ahead and got the Mudhoney.

In regards to packaging @ Amazon. I ordered both Bear in Heaven and Duke Ellington vinyl's, and they came in a pretty medium sized box, shaped like a square. Then inside of that another box sat on air packets. The second packaging was considered "frustration free", and it lived up to that name. Take out the two cardboard flaps and inside are two 12 inch flaps on each side holding the record still. No complaints.
