that sucks... i've had problems with them in the past... i never received my order(s). but, they are very quick to respond to e-mails, so i'd shoot them over one and see if and when they shipped it out.

i love this idea. i'd also be very interested to know a few more of the ins-and-outs of the process of getting said record(s) pressed (ie: pressing plant info, turnaround times, artwork specs, legal mumbo jumbo, etc). i think that'd definitely raise the "collective" concept to go beyond just investing. i'm always interested to know more about the business side of things.

got my records today (thanks virgil)... i have to say... VERY disappointed in the quality of the artwork on the King Diamond albums. it looks like they just scanned and enlarged the cd versions of these. very blurry and noticeable halftone patterns on both. i know they're old and it's possible the original artwork is long gone, but i'd like to think they could've put forth a bit more effort.

got an e-mail about 15-20 minutes after i ordered

yeah... happened to me too... pretty annoying, but obviously an oversight with the store redesign. i'm very surprised that they don't have a "news" feature on the site itself... are they really planning to do all their important info updates through an animated gif?

also... they changed my order status to "paid not shipped"

update: it appears as if they charged my card... and will be sending it out tomorrow.

yes... i ordered (with a CC) around 7:45 EST that day and still have haven't received a status change from "order received". i'm guessing they probably didn't fulfill orders over the weekend, so hopefully that changes today (or i'll be sending out an e-mail). i honestly believe i'll be getting one, but it concerns me that other people who ordered after me have already gotten their shipping confirmation.

that is correct. i ordered w/ a cc & received an email stating: "We have received your online order and it will now be processed. We will now check if all items you have ordered are currently in stock, and contact you with your exact order."

i don't know... 250 people isn't a whole lot when you consider how many isis fans/vinyl collectors are out there. (especially considering people intent on turning this thing for a profit on ebay)

not entirely sure... though that'd be my guess. lack of communication on an item this limited (and in demand) seems strange.

admittedly. but with a few meetings scheduled throughout the day, i don't want to miss the opportunity.

i went ahead an ordered. i think i might try and get one from robo too (just in case)... if i end up with two, i can always offer one up to anyone here who misses out.

that's kind of what i was thinking... not sure i trust robo's "system" (ie: refresh the page every half hour all day long).
