This is the curse of restoring vintage equipment. I like to restore and repair turntables and receivers, and some of the pieces I have worked on have come in quite a state of disrepair. I do it because I really enjoy it, but I have a very hard time getting rid of anything afterwards. I wind up selling quite a bit of it off and tend to make very little money from the restoration process, but it becomes this weird personal thing.

It's a standard mix of both.

I generally fit anywhere from 45-60 records per cube. I have a 4x2 Expedit and it's holding 450+ records right now, all of which have Sleeve City's 2.5mm mylar sleeves on them.

My black copy showed up today. It looks great. Very black. It's almost like.. there's an absence of color. Very dark. Probably about as dark as it can be.. It's like, how much more black could this be? And the answer is none.. None more black.

My order through KingsRoad was marked as shipped yesterday. I ordered it on December 5th.
