Not sure if anyone has seen this on the Kanye forum http://www.kanyetothe.com/forum/index.php?topic=273356.468 Some dude taking/taken orders from 50-100 others on that board to press his own House of Balloons. I've only read a few pages of the large thread, but it looks like somehow he got the masters & was gonna have the package for $30 ea. On the last page though it looks like he's run into trouble trying to get the original cover printed, price due to rise if it still goes through. In any case it's an interesting example of vinyl product demand when something isn't officially pressed - as opposed to boots out of nowhere sold by a faceless vendor with sketchy product details.

My take is that so far, every copy available for purchase from anywhere will be the color edition released by Milan. 4000 copies. And maybe standby for order cancellations depending on how popular it is & where you order from. I could be wrong, hope I'm not. I agree it would be a shame if the film is complete rubbish, but at the moment I'm enjoying the soundtrack as a stand-alone piece of work. I think it deserves the benefit of the doubt, and reports of a poor reception at Cannes kinda heighten my anticipation.
