  1. Is anyone able to confirm that the European deluxe is a hardback cover, while the US deluxe is a standard thickness gatefold?
  2. Agree - I love all the tracks from TKOL sessions but place The Butcher at the top.
  3. My 4AD copy is fine, shame for those with the mispress but hopefully it's not very widespread.
  4. Likewise - am impressed with these tracks and would love a grey version
  5. This was great, thanks for posting. Cedric sounds a smart well-adjusted industry realist here, as opposed to his twitter outbursts at the time of the MOV pressings. Just to be clear I think it's fine for him to be pissed - if nothing else it proves he cares - but it made it difficult for fans to work out what's going on in between silence/ignorance from one party and wild incoherent ranting from another.
  6. Does anyone know if the first press of 750 is indeed the only pressing? Or could there be a blue and a green pressing? Also if anyone who has a copy is able to say whether the sticker that MOV usually have on the front of their releases specifies anything about being one the of the 750 or not that would be helpful too, thanks!
  7. I think it's been around for a year or two. Possibly a boot, but I've never seen one in person or read anything about it besides seeing it for sale online.
  8. Does anyone know if there will be a standard press? Or are the listings at Amazon etc just for the clear vinyl, as it is only that one pressing of 500 that is available?
  9. Thanks, that's what I was trying to say... I liked it.
  10. The first four albums were double 10" gatefolds, so they're all identical reissues in that respect. Will be interesting to see if the ST retains the glow in the dark cover. The original issue of Empire also has a nice embossed effect.
  11. Sorry, late arrival to this - there are still signed copies for sale on the myplaydirect page. Would that be correct, or are they more likely to have sold out of signed copies and not updated the page?
  12. Looks like LITA has a spare red wax copy for $50 if anyone's interested http://www.ebay.com/itm/Mark-Lanegan-Has-God-Seen-My-Shadow-An-Anthology-1989-2011-RED-WAX-/261592038179?
  13. Ordered on Aug 15, but today received non-supply notification (and a refund) from Recordstore.co.uk after they "unfortunately receiving a smaller allocation than they hoped from their suppliers"...
  14. I've sold a record on discogs and shipped from New Zealand to Brazil with no problems.
  15. Yeah, this is odd. Not deal breaker as the package is still great...but gives the impression of carelessness. They could be given the benefit of the doubt and assume they did it intentionally, but...why?
  16. Not sure on pulling the trigger on one of these "strictly limited edition" variants without having heard any material, considering the Vista Chino album ended up having so many different color versions - all "strictly limited" of course. Hoping the album is great though.
  17. That really is a shame about both the omission of Plastic, and the continued placement of You Wish at the end of side a. Still, a re-release might turn some more folks on to what remains a solid album.
  18. Assume the retailers linked above have the standard black wax - does anyone know where the color variant may be found, other than discogs/ebay?
  19. I can see some of the points the Pitchfork reviewer makes about their sound...I just disagree in thinking those aspects of their song craft make for a bad listening experience. Album is fantastic. The different handwriting of the lyrics on the inner sleeves is a nice touch to the package (I'm guessing penned by which particular member has vox on each track). Can't say I'll be getting much use from the stencil...but a bonus is a bonus.
  20. Yet to receive my copy, but everywhere I've seen them for sale online indicates that the limited edition is red vinyl now, not yellow.
  21. You could try Wowhd - $37.39 atm http://www.wowhd.us/home/massive-attack-mezzanine/dp/35575339#bc=2c6d
  22. The Rough Trade USA store lists that the first 100 come with an autographed poster and stencil, but Rough Trade UK and the band's webshop have the number as the first 1000. Likely typo, or different numbers for the US and worldwide...?
