Yup...they're surprisingly good...sometime b-side and bonus discs have so-so songs...but in this case they were quite good...at least to me...

ronnie...at least you have access to ebay...we have firewalls in place here at work and can't access neither ebay nor myspace. And there are a couple of auctions today that I was watching which end before I get home...I place my max bids on them already so I am hoping that I can snag them...

I would have taken the paid holiday but they were hurting for people today at work...so I volunteered...getting paid extra of course...so even though I am hatin' being here right now, I will be happy when I get that paycheck with extra $$$...to buy more vinyl of course!

they are so bad, in my opinion. the only good one is the POS redo of drilling, and thats the first track. the rest of the cd is garbage. but i wasn't expecting much anyway

That's how I felt about the ISIS ones...the only one that I found tolerable and different was the song Mike Patton remixed...can't remember the name...but oh well.

One thing I will say about Robotic Empire...this was my first order and it was all three colors for Panopticon and all three for In The Absence Of Truth...they came in a large box and safely packed inside. I was very impressed.

I'm a huge nerd who collected records that were #d 3 out of however many made. I actually had about 25-30 #3s at one time

ive been waiting on my 2nd press version of panopticon from robitc for what seems like years now. (almost 3 weeks)

Mine finally came in this past friday...they were there when I got home.

The records Crestfallen had at the show are rad. They have special covers for show, with all the bands listed, and are hand-numbered, 1 through 50. They also have the wrong date, Sept. 1, 2008. Kind of cool. I got a bunch.

I second what's been suggested so far. If you're polite and cordial in your follow-up, you're apt to (hopefully) get a response. If not, then guess the guy was a douche.

Usually when I get frustrated that I can't find something and finally order it, THAT'S when every store starts carrying it.

Hey man...I'm into them and know what you mean. I am a recent fan...a friend knew that I am a big ISIS fan, and suggested that I give Pelican a try...I am hooked...I enjoy that there are no vocals in the music and like you said, it sounds like a group of guys jamming out and painting a sonic collage...

So I'm in the active search to get all 1st presses for ISIS vinyl (btw, drop me a line if you want to sell any)...I was elated when Virgil was able to re-stock the white vinyl for 'In The Absence of Truth'...so sure enough I placed an order...

Today being my only day off, I went to check out a new record store in my area. As I was browsing their selection, what do I find?...the white 1st press of ITAOT!

I didn't buy it as I don't have a need for another copy...but the store did have a decent selection...nothing fantastic...but much better than some other stores around here.

Now back to our regular broadcast...
