I don't know if this has been mentioned...and I don't feel like going back through all 13 pages of posts...
Suicide Machines - Destruction by Definition
Initial Records was originall supposed to put it out as a gatefold, clear red vinyl, #d release...but as far as I know, that never happened...and I don't think it ever got put on wax at all by anyone else. But I could be wrong.

I saw it. It was awesome. It definitely had the feel of 'Alien' and it was reminiscent to 'Event Horizon' in certain parts and even in the overall premise of the story...but all in all it's a great movie. Danny Boyle in his directing gave it a unique feel to it and like altars stated, there was definitely a lot of visual eye candy...especially in a theater.

Sweet interview...Congrats Yu!

Got in the mail today all 3 color represses of 'Panopticon' and 'In The Absence Of Truth' from Robotic Empire...they are sweet...big box too!

I have a bunch of records put out by Doghouse but no pressing info. I have previously emailed the label about getting some info but no response to date.
Any of you dudes know of any info or where it may be listed?

yeah id pay more to have him ship than say interpunk and interpunk overcharges..its like 6 bucks to ship 1 record...and they ship it terribly. i still dont understand how someone thought it was $4 to ship though
I agree...way back when I remember I ordered AFI's 'sing the sorrow' 2x12" red from them and not only was the shiping charge uber-costly...but they send it to me in a large priority mail box with just a couple pieces of crumpled packing paper to "secure" it from getting knocked around inside...The vinyl and jacket were perfect but the packaging was half-assed.

Must...resist...buying...more vinyl...Damnit!

I was shocked and saddened to hear about his passing. If you don't know who he is, then you need to brush up on your American Punk Rock History 101.
-
All this talk of lite...this lite...that lite...the only like that matters to me is Miller Lite!
Cheers dudes!

Can't see the picture...damnit!....damn these firewalls and prevention nonsense at work!

Maybe if their drummer wasn't so confused.
Ain't that the truth...

this may sound retarted but how the hell do you throw that box around text to either answer or follow up on another persons post
Like this?...Click on the "quote" icon on the upper right hand corner of the person's post that you want to respond directly to.

go listen to throwdown's new record.
Do I have to?
-
But Pantera was a different beast altogether...not hardcore at all in the sense of the Throwdowns, Hatebreeds, and countless other hardcore bands that sound the same...

Hickey...whereabouts in Boston are you?...I travel to Beantown at least once a year...have been doing it for the past 10 years or so. My best friend lives in Cambridge just down the street from The Middle East...I love that town. I was just up there for the Police concert at Fenway.
And going back to the thread...For some odd reason, straight-up hardcore and shows are breeding grounds for thugs. It's like it has become heavy music's version of gangsta rap... :

Has anyone seen Boston Beatdown DVDs? that shit is ridiculous!
I have not seen them but have seen the trailer for the second volume. It's retarded.
