I try to remember them but usually forget. When I went to Fest, they were one of the things I made sure I packed.

I'm considering SXSW in 2009 but I'm also considering checking out Punk Rock Bowling in Vegas. It's a toss up right now as to which one I go to. I think it'll all depend on how bad the Wisconsin winter is this year and if I need a break by January or March.

I'm in the same boat. I played kickball with those two, among many others. Didn't know it was them. Also, damn everyone who got to see Atom's set. I stood in line for over a half an hour and didn't get in to The Venue until the last line of Atom's last song.

I'll guess Bigwig, which is less of a guess and more wishful thinking that you'll put out Bigwig records.

I was going to do the same thing, but, surprisingly, none of my rural Wisconsin friends did anything like that.

If there's some of Kyle-William's set in there, you're my hero. I really liked the stuff he played.

Stoked to hear Mustard Plug attempt Waiting Room. Slingshot Dakota did it at Fest at The Kickstand and I thought they did alright with it.

What records did you pick up down in Gainesville? After about my fifth Strongbow Cider while waiting for Nothington to play, some english guy recommended this Frank Turner 10" called Campfire Punkrock which sounds pretty much like all your favorite Billy Bragg songs. It's great. My other cool score was this comp with 20 bands covering Sesame Street songs that I haven't fully listened to yet, but so far it's pretty funny. No Manamana, though.

I look forward to casting my vote tomorrow, but after that, I'm done with it. I don't want to see any results or anything until Wednesday. I hope to come to work on Wednesday not knowing and find out who won based on whether or not the die hard McCain fan I work with killed himself overnight.

I hope they somehow give the show some proper closure.

So I joined in on a kickball game at Fest on Saturday morning on the Quote Unquote Records team. I'm pretty positive at least a couple folks from the board were there. Who did I not introduce myself to? I was the first guy to take his shirt off.

You missed Nothington? Their set ruled! I swear everyone in the pub knew the words to all their songs. That was one of my favorite sets of the whole Fest.

I just found out that the rental car that priceline reserved for me probably isn't going to work because, while they let you reserve a car with a debit card, they won't let you drive it with one. Priceline made no mention of it on their site, so I figured all was good. Fortunately, my dad worries about everything under the sun and mentioned it to me, so I checked up and yep, I'm screwed. So, anyone in Jacksonville on Friday around 4:30?
