I got this today, it is absolutely beat to fuck! Massive seam splits and all four corners are are just demolished! It looks like it was used as a Frisbee prior to being boxed up. Has anyone ever dealt with District Lines as far as a replacement or refund? I also added the "grab bag" vinyl to this and that album is destroyed as well.

Its the same press. Pressed at the same place with the same process. Hot Topic does not manufacture records.

They're allll the same, my man. All the ones from this press were likely done at the exact same time at the exact same plant with the exact same masters, they were probably all sent to Victory, then they sent them to HT. At least I assume that's what happened. But yes, I'd be extremely surprised if it sounded the same. Haha.

Any chance this has better sound quality than the victory releases? Or was it probably pressed at the same plant, using the same processes and just sent to the two separate places (victory and ht)?

Want! like have wanted for a long time. What they did with WYTTSY was fantastic. I am stoked to hear this acoustic as I love every aspect of this album. I really wanna hear Believe and Life of a Salesman acoustic.

Yeah, I absolutely loved the acoustic version of WYTTSY too! I have acoustic versions of like 3 Ocean Avenue songs, but would love to hear the entire album for sure

Same here in Nebraska. Mid 80s a couple of days ago and last night it snowed. So crazy. First time we've had snow in May since 1967.

Oh no, I am. You don't recognize me? I'm your neighbor haha But anyways I'm assuming you're referring to prices? I started the FOB at 20, which was less than I paid for it. I started the Mae at 35, which many VCers would consider reasonable because I've seen many people offering 40ppd and 45ppd for the record on here. Also, this album has never (that I've seen) sold for less than $35 on ebay, so if I had started it lower it would have ended up on that level anyways. So I feel these are completely reasonable prices, but to each his own I suppose.

I know there are a lot of purists out there who prefer to have black vinyl instead of colored. I have a black copy of this and was hoping to pick up one of the blue or orange variants instead. I just received it today and opened it, but have yet to play it. PM me if interested, thanks!

Gotta admit I wasn't convinced I was going to like this album, but after listening to it all week I love this album (minus a couple songs) and decided it was definitely worth picking up on vinyl. Got it home and was really impressed with the record and it's packaging. Everything was high quality and looks great, and I love the clear red! This is the first 10" i've owned but it felt pretty heavy to me, anyone know how much it weighs? Haven't gotten a chance to listen to it yet, but if the sound quality matches everything else with this pressing it's going to sound great.
