I'm really mad I forgot about these. It didn't help I didn't have access to my money due to a debit card breach. Anyone grab an extra Hangover III, or don't want it anymore, hit me up.

That sucks. Bad sleep is the worst. It was too hot when I went to bed, then as it cooled off it got too cold in my room. I also tossed and turned for hours, so that didn't help. So far it's flying by, but there are only 2 of us instead of 4 so far today.

Quite busy so far, so it's fine. Hope yours is as well, since zero sleep is the worst.

Morning all. Slept like shit last night, broke my belt somehow this morning and was almost late since I forgot I had to come in early. Today is off to a great start.

The quartz lock on my table is the issue. Turning it off works. ToT still sounds sorta slow, so my copy must be bad.

Silly internet people with nothing better to do. I finally got my table back up to speed. The quartz lock function does not work, but I was able to adjust the speed with it off. Sounds great again. Now to replace the mat they broke, since I think the one they gave me is too thick for my table.

Yeah, 10 is pretty smooth. I like the dark look of it too. Navigating to folders, and such is a bit different, but no different once you're used to it. Glad it working better for you too. Vista was a resource hog.

Damn, that is a lot worse then my situation. Glad it worked out for her, since citibank is terrible. They hold the Goodyear credit card, so they transfer customer and people who don't use the system I support to us at work since they don't know what they are doing.

HK were nice enough to put a strobe on top of their record weights, but I unfortunately don't have any lights that work with it. I'll give one on VE a try though. I assume the bars are supposed to remain stationary, like on a technics table with built in strobe? Edit: I got it up to speed with the strobe, and an app to verify each other. The quartz lock does not work, it's still 2 rpm too slow, but if you turn it off, it works fine. Weird, but at least it's working fine.

Agreed. Even a plain black press would have been cool. The /300 one just sounds hideous. At least the music on it is amazing.

The colors on it are goofy as hell, but in excited to own it again. Such a good record. I need to order the pg.lost stuff too, but imports are so expensive. I plan on it on Monday. They claim it passed the test, and is keeping speed fine, but everything still sounds off to me. Edit: They also cracked the mat on the table, and I just noticed the head shell screw is missing. Edit 2: Did some more listening, and it seems fine now. I think the first record I put on had an issue, since I tried it again on my SL-D2 and it sounded slow there too. Edit 3: Some records sound fine, some sound too slow. I don't know what's going on... this is frustrating. I'm debating seeing if they'll buy the table back and just going with something else...

I miss being super skinny :(. Time to get depressed and starve myself, like I was in high school when I lost a ton of weight!

Well I finally got my TT back from the shop. They cleaned it and replaced the belt and said it's good to go. I put on a record I know well and it still sounds really slow to me. Not sure what to do now. Debating just saying fuck it, and buying a new one with a warranty. In the mean time, back to the SL-D2.

Yeah, they claim they checked it with digital scopes and such, but it still sounds slow. Quartz lock does not work at all, still slow. I'm going to call it a loss with that shop, and see if I can sell it to make some money back and buy something new with a warranty. Done with used stuff, even though I really wanted a Thorens he had there.

I just got my TT back, and it seems like the speed issues are still there. ToT sounds so slowwwww.
