An official statement: This record is pressed on various opaque vinyl colors. The plant used a number of their leftover custom mixed opaque compounds to finish this run since their new stock of colored vinyl is on backorder. This means when you order more than one, you will receive different colors of vinyl. I will attempt to catalog pressing info while I assemble these. Until then, it's luck of the draw!! ENJOY!!

Gilead will be carrying this when it's out, too. Along with a repress of Ties on new colors if TL approves of it.

Thats awesome man, do you know about how much that runs off the top of your head? Really depends on where you go. Adam Tucker gives me a deal because I host his website & I released some records by his bands. And Colin I obviously didn't have to pay since he mastered his own record. Hit them up though, can't hurt.

Always better to be safe than sorry. Have someone experienced master your audio for vinyl before it even goes to the plant. Plants say they can do in house mastering, but 99% of the time they run a straight cut from your audio master to the lacquer. Adam Tucker from Signaturetone Recording has been mastering the Gilead Media releases for vinyl since the Mota 2xlp. His output has been nothing but outstanding. [email protected] Otherwise, Colin Marston (from Behold the Arctopus/Indricothere) runs a studio called The Thousand Caves. He mastered the Indricothere LP for vinyl and it hits like nothing I've ever heard. It's literally one of the best sounding records I've ever played, not to mention released. http://thethousandcaves.com/ Both are very "DIY" sort of dudes that also have a great attitude about working with indie labels.

Hahaha...wow. I've never sent an email like that. What's your email address so I can search my records? Also, no idea why Best Buy has this on their site. Anyone that actually knows me knows I don't request the solicitation of my releases to places like that. But they do indeed list it without having it in-stock. Not sure how Best Buy randomly listing my shit on their order-when-we-get-orders site makes me a tool...

Thanks to folks who aren't buying these to flip. I wanted to make the prices lower than ebay, but high enough that people wouldn't buy them just to flip. I don't know. I hope collectors that want them, get them.

Exactly, I'm betting most of the kids buying these want to flip them anyway. Unfortunately.
