Gilead update - New distro items! Thou 7", 10", LP, Protestant, Paulson, Year of No Light & Black Arrows vinyl! Hey folks! It's been a while since I've sent out an email to the list, but things have been a little slow... focusing on other responsibilities for a while! I've had a few distro items for a while now, and I've just been too lazy to post about them. Protestant is one of the best fast & pissed off hardcore bands I've heard in a few years, please do check them out! And the Black Arrows LP is the vinyl version of the CD I'll be releasing in March of 09! Paulson and Year of No Light are two great records from our friends at Cavity. Should be coming along now! Some other stuff in the works that I can't precisely reveal yet that may involve a Zombie movie soundtrack - been working on this a while, crossing my fingers real hard!!!, another project involving Hewhocorrupts and a certain awesome band doing a ridiculous split, a brand new ...Of Sinking Ships record, and a couple other things for later in 2009. Seriously? I would put them in my top ten favorite live shows. They were sick when I saw them. It was so bad that I left halfway through the set and slept in my car until Dosh started which blew my fucking pants off!

I saw this band open for Dosh and it was really bad

about 75-80% of the songs on this thing are really bad. Walk the Line started with so much promise, then dude started singing the way he did... blech

This book is seriously awesome... plus I got to make the buttons for it!! Even if you don't read strips often, there are tons of great jokes in this book that you'll appreciate as a fan of punk.

It is with great pleasure that I formally announce the business partnership entered into between Gilead Media (aka "GLM" aka "Gilead" aka "ELD") and Frodus (aka "FCI" aka "Frodus Conglomerate International") to re-release the epic & inspiring album "FRODUS CONGLOMERATE INTERNATIONAL" on a 45 RPM 2xLP packaged in a gatefold jacket with an exclusive bonus track, "Attention: Remove." Although originally released in 1998 by Tooth and Nail, "FCI" has proven to be record that stands the test of time and continues to influence musicians around the world. Frodus helped pioneer a genre and defined themselves as legends. This 2xLP re-issue includes a full color gatefold jacket, an official "FCI" contract that is intended to be signed and mailed to FCI headquarters for countersigning, finally to be returned to the new business affiliate. As if that weren't enough, this re-issue also includes an "FCI" credit card that can be used to access exclusive video content via the world wide web. This will be limited to 600 copies, all on black vinyl. Pre-orders will begin upon receipt of intelligence regarding the shipping of finished product.
