Not sure why there seems to be such a strong dislike for this one. I've been a yellowcard fan for a long time, own everything they have put out and I am loving this record. It's perhaps a bit slower than most of the other stuff they have done, but it still has great, sing along choruses, nice, heavy guitar riffs, and of course that violin. Sounds like yellowcard. Maybe It's just me.

Turned up LOUD on my stereo right now. Vinyl sounds and looks great. Really digging the songs.

Official premiere of "Paralyzed" and more info about the album.
I really like the track. Most noticeable thing to me is how AVA seems to only have 2 members now according to the press photo.

I've never found anything as new as Circa. But some very cool stuff. Beatles, Pink Floyd, Johnny Cash all in very good shape. Recently found some Bob Marley, Miles Davis and John Coltrane stuff that ended up being worth some pretty serious cash.

Picked up an extra HT copy if someone international wants it. PM me. Just a heads up you must pay as a gift. Check my feedback.
Did you pick this up at a store in NY? I'm picking up an order from my local HT store in Virginia tomorrow. Hoping they have some in stock.

Saw this earlier, song is killer. Why is this a $7 two song 7" though?
I don't know Dan. I don't question anymore. Maybe because the plants are asking for more money because they know they can these days? I'm paying like a sucker for this regardless. Really liking the first release. Hoping for a lot more to come as hinted in the article. I mean if I can't have another quicksand record.....

Anyone know who the girl singing on Go Away is?
EDIT- It's Bethany Cosentino.
Thanks I was looking for that info as well. listened to the stream a few times already and I truly love it. Can't wait to add this to my Weezer on Vinyl collection.

If they had the tour variant the first night of the tour in DC I would have gladly purchased. Speaking of the first night, I'll never go to the first night of a new record and tour again.

that look so damn good. just got more excited for mine to come later this week.
Second spin through and i cannot say it enough. Not only do they look good, but the audio quality on these is top notch. Sounds amazing. Great job from SRC and whoever did the mastering on these. Crystal clear .

sounds awesome. The purple is a little darker than I thought it would be but it still looks pretty great imo. First picture the etching, disc under light, and the back and front of the pullout insert. The inside is more imagery and lyrics.
Second pic is the cover and disc playing, and the opening of the gatefold sleeve.

New song 'Late Lives'. Do I miss the screaming? A bit. Doesn't mean I don't love this. Pretty great imo. Very excited for the new record.

you're actually getting it cheaper shipped from Europe, and will probably get it before I do even though I ordered from his website here in the US haha. I'll just be glad when I get it. Really digging it on spotify.

There should be a bunch of new vinyl up on 9/30!
I hope Big Wig is one of the new titles

I'll admit that Superstar Car Wash and A Boy Named Good are great, scuzzy pop-rock records... The songs where Johnny is trying his hardest to be Paul Westerberg are top-notch.
Dizzy starts to get over-produced but the songwriting is strong enough to power through. (Still can't listen to Iris tho.) After that the albums become indistinguishable for me.
So basically, I'd buy SCW and ABNG and DUTG if/when WB and Metal Blade decide to those those right. C'mon, if the SPIN DOCTORS can get a vinyl issue....
That's all I'm asking for filthy rich. Also I'm going to go to bat for Hold Your Fire. Time Stand Still being on that record alone makes Hold Your Fire a keeper.

I'm really surprised with all these major labels going through their back catalogs and reissuing things on vinyl that the Goo Goo Dolls catalog has gone overlooked. I'd love to own "Super Star Carwash" and I'd probably buy "Boy Named Goo", too. Damn you Warner Brothers.
I'm thinking that since they released the last record on vinyl that their eyes are at least open to it now. First time ever on vinyl for those 2 at least would seemingly be a decent money maker for WB.

I'm not a big fan of their last few, but I'd love to own Superstar Car Wash, Boy Named Goo and Dizzy up the Girl on vinyl. Those records are pretty damn great IMO. Surprised none of those have ever been pressed on Vinyl.
