Got my Aliens today & almost thought they sent the wrong version as the 'blue' disc is so unnoticeable its quite disappointing. I have the faintest dark blue just round the centre of the record that you can only just about see if you hold it up to a bright light. The b-side is totally black. The 2nd disc of course looks gorgeous. Just make a very uneven end result. I'm sure the label can't be happy with the way they turned out.

Can anyone tell me roughly how long it took for the first pressing to sell out? I didn't get to purchase straight away but got my order in within the first hour. No idea if it was the pre-order or not.

hey mo, i understand about the shipping cost it's one of those things unfortunately but if there's any way you can help international orders to avoid getting stung by customs for this i'd massively appreciate it. Or will Transmission get copies in the UK?

If Mondo had sent it themselves then i'm 100% sure they would offer a replacement but it's expecting a bit much to think that they would replace it when someone else sent it!

Me too. I recently had a problem with my copy of Ex Machina, they asked for photos, asked me loads of questions & then still did nothing to offer me an exchange or even a slight discount on the item. I doubt i will order from them again.

I love these guys so much i really do & i know its probably not their fault but it was $25 for the record & $23.80 for shipping!!! International shipping costs are ridiculous.

They seem to be one extreme or another, either really thin or really thick that you can't actually get the record in them (night satan)!

I really HATE those oversized jackets DW used to use! I don't mind better quality sleeves as long as they're the same size as all my other records! Waxwork seem to have it sussed in that department.

guys just because its not on 180g vinyl doesn't make it bad, lots of 'thin' records play really well. I have no problem with the latest DW releases. I actually am glad that they are using regular size jackets too instead of the over sized ones they used to use.

Excited for this box set! Got a question if anyone can help, is it easy to identify a copy of the original LP to the bootleg one that's been doing the rounds? I ordered this album recently but wasn't aware that there was also a counterfeit one until today & now i'm worried i'll end up with the bootleg!

I think this will available at retail, the mondo version was red vinyl exclusive so I guess a standard version will be out soon.

I am in the UK & have ordered tons of Mondo releases & so far have never had any split seams! Seems crazy that mine have to travel much further & i don't get this problem like many others do.

They are waiting for the grey & white A Girl Walks..... LP's to arrive so if you ordered one of those that's why no shipment yet. They should arrive this week!

as far as i know it hasn't yet. I'm dying to see these too.
