It makes me sad that you're selling, but happy that you're applying for grad school. Hit me up, we'll talk, I'll take some stuff off your hands.
Thanks, man! Not selling anything I'll be sad to see go. If that makes you feel any better

Hey folks, I don't post here much, but I used to a lot. Here are a bunch of records. People who can vouch for me: marc, danthemjfan, roadmonkey, jimmythescumbag, controlthebleeding.
These are priced based on Discogs and Popsike. If anything seems unreasonable, let me know and we can prob work something out. Postage at actual cost, ppd over $50.
** Also, check out my list. I could probably be persuaded to sell a lot of it. Excepting Ted Leo, Propagandhi, Strike Anywhere and any Fest-related stuff.

Transparent clear sounds awesome. I wonder how that's different from regular clear

I hope my copy comes with bonus grass like in the picture.

Womp womp
And then this happened:
Dear Elusive Disc customer,
We are writing to inform you for a notice for your pre-order item:
FPLP11444 - Modest Mouse "Building Nothing Out Of Something"
This item is temporarily off of our webstore per the band and label’s request. Due to an error on the label’s part, these items were announced too soon. The official announcement for these two albums will not be until on or around March 25, 2015. Both items are still to be released and are still to be released on or around April 21, 2015.

I got my haze and a note that says there's a "small" amount of dirt on the whole variant. Idk about "small." I could invite a couple people over and play beach volleyball on the inner sleeve.

These look amazing. Can't wait to have a copy in hand. Sure would like to see Atlas get pressed, too.

Ha. Beat me to it.
It seems like their stuff is getting quirkier. I'll probably like anything they do, though.

Boom! New track:
We're pleased to finally be able to share the details of our new studio album with you. It's called Rave Tapes and is scheduled for release on 20th January via our own Rock Action Records label for the UK & EU, Sub Pop in North America, Hostess in Japan and Spunk Records in Australia.
https://soundcloud.com/rock-action-records/mogwai-remurdered
Album details:
Rave Tapes was recorded in our Castle of Doom studio in Glasgow this year and was produced by Paul Savage with whom we've worked on the Mogwai Young Team and Hardcore Will Never Die, But You Will records.
The album will be available on CD, LP, Digital and Ltd edition box set (featuring the LP itself, an exclusive 12", a book of studio photography by iconic photographer Steve Gullick shot during the recording sessions, 3 x 12" x 12" art prints, a 7" and a CD version of the album).
The tracklist is as follows:
1. Heard About You Last night
2. Simon Ferocious
3. Remurdered
4. Hexon Bogon
5. Repelish
6. Master Card
7. Deesh
8. Blues Hour
9. No Medicine For Regret
10. The Lord Is Out Of Control -
I ordered and got an email saying there were downloads. Download was called "placeholder" and was just an empty folder. Anyone else have this problem?
-
Have you read The Crying of Lot 49? You should start there, it's a quick read but still has a lot of substance
I'd start with this or Inherent Vice. Maybe the latter since P.T. Anderson's film adaptation is currently filming.

Seriously, 'Bagboy' sounds like a bar band trying to ape vintage Pixies.
These new songs aren't remotely as terrible, but they aren't vintage Pixies, either. I think some of it sounds like Frank Black's americana style stuff, which I enjoy. Some of it sounds like 3/4 decent post-rock. I may buy it. Still on the fence. -

I wasn't too stoked on 'Bagboy,' so I might wait to hear this before I buy it. -
New track, enjoy! : https://soundcloud.com/the-dismemberment-plan/invisible-2/s-nhXFr
I like this quite a bit better than "Waiting."

Got my Fat colored version w/ tab book today and the corner of sleeve & tab book both have terrible bends in them - sucks since I love this release so much but at least it still functions
My LP sleeve is way busted. Debating buying a black copy to have a decent sleeve, but I don't want to run the risk of getting another bent one.

I could have sworn I've seen it on Discogs before, but I just checked and yeah, nothing.
Did anyone ever see the RSD single Superchunk put out this year? I don't even think my local shop got a copy (the same one where I found This Summer).
I snagged a copy. None of the shops in Tampa got one. I had to drive to a little shop about an hour from me to get it. Well worth it, though.

This is really nice sounding. If I were a fan of Core, I'd be all over it, but I'll definitely pick up any post-Purple STP they put out.
This. Core hasn't aged well for me, but I'd be all over a Tiny Music repress.
