You can get MLB tickets fairly cheap, but the seats tend to be shitty. Minor league parks don't seat nearly as many people, and there's a lot more unique things that go on at those games. The Whitecaps (the team from the story) did a Star Wars night, by the way...

I think this is definitely the case with the first album you ever hear from a band, in my opinion. Whether it is their first, 10th or whatever, if you really like that one, the others never quite compare, especially when they put out new stuff.
