    I actually just got the "Gimme Something Good" 7" from Amazon. On the same order I got a guitar capo and everything was just floating around in a cardboard box. The 7" was actually stuck below the bottom flaps. Luckily no damage but I thought it was a strange way to package it.

    Mine was in a standard size record mailer between two pieces of cardboard, which was then stuffed in a GIGANTIC cardboard box surrounded by those little air packets. I was a little confused when I saw a TV size box at my doorstep, but it was packed very well. What the hell, Amazon?

    Question for anyone in the Nashville area (I apologize if this is the wrong board to post this in.)

    I'm looking to start thinning down my vinyl collection, but I don't have the time to deal with eBay in terms of packaging and all the trips to the post office. Is there any record store in Nashville that actually knows their stuff and would pay decent prices, or any users in the area that can help me start unloading? I have a huge variety that has quite a few gems (Coheed, AOF, blink, +44, Saves the Day, etc.)

    I would totally buy the +44. Just sayin'.

    Sorry for the image intensive post! Bee* warned!

     

    I'm about halfway through the album, and it sounds amazing. The bass is more pronounced, which adds a lot of weight to the electronic elements throughout. It sounds very refreshing, and beautiful. The actual record is super thick and heavy, which is the first thing I noticed before even opening the package. Very heavy, and sturdy vinyl and packaging. The cover is the same reflective glossy you've seen on all of the other re-releases. Very nice, but definitely a fingerprint magnet, lol. Turn the page, you wash ya hands. Turn the page, you wash ya hands. And then you turn the page, and then you wash your hands.
