I need to try that local honey thing for allergies, does it work well?

 

This is the first season I've actually tried it (after waking up congested one morning when things started blooming). I add 1 tablespoon to my tea thermos/mug thing before I add the hot water.

 

Maybe it's a mental thing, but the only day I've woke up feeling congested after I started was one morning after I had to rush out of the house without my tea. The next morning...all stuffed up.

 

There's stuff all over the Internet about it working/not working, so I just said fuck it and gave it a try because honey is delicious.

I kicked my soda habit a decade ago. It was a rough one.

 

Green tea (with local honey added to it for the allergies) every morning. Water during the day. Beer whenever I can.

 

Never got into coffee.

Oh, y'all wacky gringos.

 

Speaking of this...I had a can of Chelada yesterday without looking at what it was first.

My first ever encounter with soda being called pop was back in college. My first roommate was from Minnesota. He called it pop. I had to ask him what the hell he was talking about.

 

And then one time he suggested we order a pie. I'm thinking "What the fuck does he want a pie for?!?! Apple pie? Cherry pie?". Of course he was referring to pizza.

This almost exact same thing happened to me when I got a job at a Teen Summer Camp in Seattle.

 

The kids told me would should have a "pop and pie party."

 

I thought it was a drug reference.

Nope. I got in major trouble as well for having that shirt. Ha!

 

Still have it too.

 

It wasn't as bad as  Jack Off Jill shirt I still also have.

Been conversing with a guy on Craigslist for 2 days to pick up a propane burner he's selling so I can brew outdoors.

One of my all-time favorite bands. They've reunited so great to see some U.S. shows now. They're playing in L.A. at end of this month I believe.

I ordered a record for the Bride for Mother's Day a couple weeks ago and I haven't heard a thing since the confirmation e-mail.

I think I bought two records on here before having more than a couple of posts (and no av).

 

Everyone has to start somewhere.

 

I feel you, and I don't have any reason to think there will be an issue, but there's always that little bit of concern with every transaction.

 

I always do signature confirmation if the package is over $100 these days.

 

It wasn't that expensive, but enough that I could justify the extra couple of bucks.

Does anyone else get hesitant when someone with 1 post is looking for a record that you have to sell?

 

Well, the payment has been deposited in my PayPal account, the label has been printed and the $2.35 Signature Confirmation has been added to protect me as far as PayPal is concerned...

 

Unless USPS loses the package, I'm feeling pretty good about this one.

Hell yeah! I bought this on cassette from Pat last month. He had sold out of CDs and I think Plan-It-X hadn't gotten the records in from the plant. Can't wait to pick it up on vinyl!

 

I saw it up on his Bandcamp a while back so I bought it then. He had mentioned that they weren't going to be done until early May, so I was glad to get it a bit earlier than that.
