  1. Just wondering if I should invest the time now, or if it could probably wait.
  2. Realized how little of the Braid discog I have I vinyl. I can get all of the 7" from Discogs for more than fair prices, but I'm tempted to just go with both Movie Music Volumes. I can get them both, and Age of Octeen from Polyvinyl for 46 shipped. What do?
  3. Is there a stream set up or did you guys already get your pre-order copies?
  4. Is your name for real Blade cause that's rad
  5. We just have really high standards set by Blue Album/Pinkerton. I'm sure if I was just coming now, I'd like it too.
  6. Saw them then too! Got one signed at their merch tent. Awesome guys, hope to catch them on their last tour.
  7. Victory still gets new bands to sign but whyhow?
  8. Glad there was a thread. New song kills. Really want to pre-order, but I'm split between the two starburst variants.
  9. Was hoping it'd be that smoky-ish clear that Static and Clarity were. That would have looked bomb as hell.
  10. Damn, hoping it doesn't take long for mine to arrive because I ordered it from the JEW website.
  11. Very very very true. Great point. But that doesn't mean that we can't look back on how fucking lame they were.
  12. Almost all first wave punk bands blow, and modern street punk bands are the lamest. Why are people still trying?
  13. I like them, because I grew up with them, but I respect this.
  14. Saw St. Vincent on a re-run of SNL last night and that was awful.
  15. But bands despised being thrown into the emo camp, until the emo revival come along. Now's everyone's emo. I wouldn't be upset with somebody calling a band emo. It's just a genre. But when a band calls themselves emo, it's like they're aming for a niche, or attempting to appeal to a specific crowd. It's just dumb to me. Just make fucking music and let other people decide what it is.
  16. Seriously, I agree with you. If I like a band, I don't care what people call them. I just don't like when a band defines themselves as something that specific. It's limiting their audience, almost like they only want to exist to repeat what people have already done. Like a cover band, kinda.
  17. Indie Rock, Alt, Pop Punk, Power-Pop, Hardcore, something a little less pretentious and broad.
