I feel like this is the thread to share my misery..

I'm going into work at 5am instead of 6 so I can "run into" this dude. I can't tell if he's my age or 18 so I'm on the fence about it. Last week I did my nervous talk where I ramble on really really fast and the whole time he had on headphones so he didn't hear me. Son of a bitch!!

I don't have an awesome beard like the majority on here or a cat . I feel....inadequate. But if I was a dude I would have the best beard ever! Can you braid those things?

It seems like there was some discussion about glasses here once. Anybody have any suggestions of places online to order really awesome good looking yet affordable glasses for up and coming suburban professionals such as myself?

I've bought 3 pairs from coastal.com. They have certain frames that are free and you just pay shipping! Great deal. I've also purchased from zenni and the quality was so so. And also eyeglassesdirect ? It was overpriced but I wanted "Harry potter" glasses and now I'm set in life. I've got tons of glasses. I went on a spending binge last year.

I honestly had like 0 friends that were female until a few years ago. My one really close friend was my manager at PacSun and then my other group of ladies used to come into Bagel Bar all the time when I was working.

Basically, the only way I know how to make friends is through jobs.

I'm barely 5'4" and all my pants drag on the floor. It's not good being short either

right? sometimes sweaters or sleeveless shirts if they are made to be baggy but everything else is tiny and most of the plus size stuff is not cute at all. I just don't go in there because it makes me feel bad about myself. it's funny because I'm more likely to fit into an urban outfitters large than f21 large which for some reason seems weird.

Target and old navy are awesome! I can always find something decent. Although lately I've been making my own cardigans so I can custom fit them to my weird body. But I don't have a life so I can sit around and waste away knitting

I don't even remember the last time I went swimming. Way too many body issues.

I went swimming earlier in the year and the whole time was worried about my boob popping out since they really like to float in the water. I've been too scared to go back since. Although common sense would have me buy a better bathing suit...

Also can we just talk about how whoever owns forever 21 is an asshole for not making XL a size and for larges running small and having a tiny selection of plus sizes in store. and they never have anything pretty.

extra large is a very common size and it makes me mad.

The only thing I can fit in that store are the cardigans but that's without them being buttoned

That whole Mary fallins daughter thing happened in my town. I really really like the flaming lips but I'm half kiowa and it's very disrespectful towards my people. All natives really. I don't know how to feel about it. I'm kind of torn. I feel like if I disassociated from everything that was disrespectful towards me then I would have a miserable life. At the same time it's so fucked up. Especially since this wasn't the first time fallin's daughter has pulled a stunt like this towards us.

Whenever I'm drinking, I'm always extra aware of my surroundings because I don't want to get taken advantage of. I was hanging with a guy friend and he tried to put his arm around me and I bit his hand really hard! There was a bit of blood but that's his own fault becuase I told him to back off.

Much later, and with a different guy, the same thing happened only I did like this guy so I only bit him a little on the arm. We ended up dating so he wasn't too mad. But seriously, I don't like being hit on when I'm drunk.

These stories only show why I'm still single. Lol.

Scott pilgrim has popped up several times since RSD. Where is all this extra stock coming from? I looked on bullmoose again and it has it available in their physical stores. If I had know this, I wouldn't have stressed so much about taking a 3 hour work lunch on RSD.
